Making frozen herring hehe:
Step 1: prepare the herring.
We spread the frozen herring in a deep bowl and leave it aside for a while. Attention: the fish must reach room temperature on their own. In no case should you defrost a component under running hot water or in a microwave, thereby we can spoil the taste of the dish.
After that, put the herring on a chopping board and use the knife to remove the head, fins and tail. Then we make an incision along the entire back of the fish and carefully separate the first fillet from the ridge. Now we take out the skeleton from the second part of the component and discard it, since it will no longer be useful to us. Using the kitchen tweezers, carefully take out the small bones from the pulp.
We wash the two loin parts under running water and put them back on a clean cutting board. We clean the herring from the skin and then cut into small pieces, approximately 2-2.5 centimeters wide. The crushed fish is moved to a deep bowl, which is washed in advance under running water.
Step 2: prepare the onions.
Using a knife, peel the onion from the husk and rinse thoroughly under running water. Then put the component on a cutting board and cut into thin circles or half rings. We chop the chopped onion into a small bowl and leave it aside for a while.
Step 3: prepare the garlic.
We spread the garlic on a cutting board and lightly press down with the tip of a knife. Then remove the husk and rinse a little clove under running water.
We lay out the component back onto the cutting board and finely chop the improvised inventory. Pour the crushed garlic in a clean saucer.
Step 4: prepare the marinade for the dish.
Pour soy sauce, 9% vinegar and vegetable oil into a deep bowl. Using a tablespoon, mix everything thoroughly until a homogeneous mixture is formed. That's it, the marinade is ready, so you can start cooking the hehe of the fish itself.

Important: since we will pickle heh layers, it is necessary to "spice up" the fish with spices and add half onion rings and finely chopped garlic.
Now we again lay out the pieces of herring, other components of the ingredients and sprinkle everything with seasonings and salt. We do this until we run out of fish with onions and garlic. At the end, pour the dish with marinade, cover tightly with a lid and put it in the refrigerator to insist all night. Attention: generally pickling takes about 2 hours, but the longer the che is cooked, the more tender and aromatic the pieces of fish are obtained, since they absorb all the juices and spices.
Step 6: serve frozen herring hey.
When hehe is well pickled in the refrigerator, we get it out of there and using a tablespoon spread the pieces of herring and chopped onion on a special plate. If desired, fish can be decorated with parsley leaves and red currant berries. This dish is usually served with mashed potatoes or boiled jacket potatoes in their skins. Beer is an excellent drink.
