Tuna and Bean Salad


Ingredients for Salad with Tuna and Beans

Making a salad with tuna and beans:

Step 1: Prepare the beans.


Open a can of canned beans and, holding the metal cap with your palm, drain the excess liquid into the sink. You can also use a tablespoon for convenience, the main thing is not to let the beans leave the jar after the water.

Step 2: Prepare canned tuna.


Just like a jar of white beans, open a jar of tuna and drain the oil. Knead the tuna meat into medium-sized pieces. It’s best to do it with a fork.

Step 3: Prepare the onion.


Remove the husks from the onion and cut off the ends. If your onion has a very astringent smell or taste, then it is best to scald it with boiling water before starting cooking. For this dish, it is best to crumble this vegetable into small cubes.

Step 4: Prepare the parsley.

Rinse greens with warm water, folding in a colander. After washing, shake off excess moisture, cut off unnecessary stems, and crush the leaves into small pieces.

Step 5: Prepare the tomatoes.


Put the cherry tomatoes in a colander and rinse under a stream of warm or hot water, brush off the same way as greens. Cut each tomato into two halves or quarters if you like smaller slices.

Step 6: Mix the salad ingredients.


Fold all prepared foods in a salad bowl, add salt, pepper, lemon juice and mix. After the tomatoes and onions give some juice, season the salad with olive oil and mix well again. The preparations are finished, you can serve the finished salad of tuna and beans on the table!

Step 7: Serve the tuna and bean salad.


Serve the salad immediately after cooking or slightly chilled. Put it in portioned dishes and enjoy a hearty, refreshing and delicious salad with pleasure.
