Cooking a pie with lingonberries and sour cream:

Step 1: Knead the dough.

It’s best to prepare the oil in advance and 5-7 minutes remove it from the refrigerator and hold it at room temperature so that it melts. Divide the oil so softened with a knife into several pieces for convenience and put in a bowl. To it, add regular and vanilla sugar. Stir the mixture with a fork. Then break a couple of eggs there and knead again. Now in small portions add wheat flour, sifting it through a sieve. Knead the dough with your hands, usually at the end I just transfer it to the flour-sprinkled worktop and continue cooking until I get the right consistency. Be careful, do not make the dough very cool, it should be soft and elastic, as well as keep the shape that you give it.

Step 2: Prepare lingonberries.

Lingonberry berries are put in a colander and rinse well. Sort them, picking unripe or spoiled berries, as well as removing extra leaves and twigs. Do not remove the remaining lingonberry from the colander, and, having fixed it on weight, allow it to dry slightly. Thus, all excess fluid drains. When making a pie, the berries will give their own juice, so that excess water can only spoil the dough, soaking it too much.

Step 3: Cook the sour cream.

Sour cream in a deep bowl for the mixer and add sugar to it. Beat the resulting mixture. All sugar should melt, and the cream should become airy and increase in volume. When this happens, your sour cream will be ready. Set it aside in the refrigerator.

Step 4: Cooking the cake.

Place the dough in a baking dish and smooth, cutting off the excess edges or pressing them with your fingers. Lay the lingonberry berries on top and carefully level them with your hand so that they evenly occupy the entire area of the cake. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius and send the cowberry pie to bake on 35-40 minutes. As soon as the right time has passed, carefully take out the product and pour it on top with sour cream, evening it with a spoon. Wait for the cake to cool slightly and place it in the refrigerator, where your dessert should be infused 3-4 hours until ready. This is necessary in order for the sour cream to freeze and soak the berries and shortbread cake a little. As soon as you make sure that the cake is brewed, remove it from the refrigerator and start serving.

Step 5: Serve a cake with lingonberries and sour cream.

Pie with lingonberries and sour cream can be served for dessert, as well as an afternoon snack, because it is quite satisfying and high-calorie. It is quite simple to prepare it, so it is not necessary to wait for a solemn occasion to afford a piece of this delicate delicacy. Therefore, as soon as your delicacy is ready, make yourself a cup of tea and enjoy your meal.
Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- In winter, when it is not possible to purchase fresh berries, you can use frozen ones.

- Instead of lingonberry berries, others will also suit, for example, cherries, strawberries, cranberries, currants and blueberries.

- In order not to cook the dough yourself, you can buy ready-made frozen shortbread dough in the store, but be careful and choose only high-quality goods.
