Making crab salad:

Step 1: Prepare the crab meat.

Crab meat is more often sold in the store already ready, that is, canned or boiled. In this case, the ingredient can only be removed from the packaging and crumble into small pieces.
If you are so lucky that you have a fresh or frozen crab, then you should cook it first. Cooking time of the crab directly depends on its size, for each 100g add 1-2 minutes. On average, this seafood needs to be boiled for 10-15 minutes. To do this, first boil water in a pan, do not forget to salt to taste and add other spices, and then, in almost boiling water, lower the crab and cook for the necessary, pre-calculated time. Then clean the crab meat from the shell and cut it into small pieces.
If you bought chilled or frozen crab meat, on the packaging of which it is indicated that it has already been cooked and is completely ready for use, there is no need to repeat the heat treatment.

Step 2: Prepare the tomatoes.

Rinse the tomatoes under a warm stream of water. Wipe with disposable paper towels. Be sure to cut out the place where the stalk used to be. Cut clean vegetables into thin, neat slices, without crushing or deforming them. The resulting slices should keep their shape well.

Step 3: Prepare the greens.

Rinse the dill, and then be sure to shake off excess moisture. Lay a bunch of grass on a cutting board and chop with a knife. It is also possible to use kitchen scissors, if it is more convenient for you.

Step 4: Mix and form a crab salad.

In a salad bowl, mix chopped crab meat with herbs, salt to taste, add pepper and mix thoroughly, evenly distributing spices and dressing.
And at the very end we only need to beautifully form a salad. To do this, put a slice of tomato on the bottom of a flat plate, and lay crab meat with dill and mayonnaise on top of it, then tomato again. Thus, make several layers, based on the fact that one tomato takes one such turret. When both portions of the salad are formed, proceed to serving the dishes on the table.

Step 5: Serve the crab salad.

Serve crab salad on the table during the break between main courses or as a snack. This dish is perfect for any occasion, but best suited for a romantic dinner. Offer wine or champagne to it and enjoy a light, refreshing meal.
Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- Instead of boiled crab meat, you can use canned.

- You can also add lemon slices or lettuce to this salad to taste, but only as a decoration, that is, not mixing with crab meat.

- Instead of fresh tomatoes, you can also use sweet bell peppers with thick, fleshy walls. They can simply be peeled, washed and crushed into cubes, and then mixed with herbs, mayonnaise and crab meat.
