Salad with Chicken and Fried Mushrooms


Ingredients for Salad with Chicken and Fried Mushrooms

Cooking a salad with chicken and fried mushrooms:

Step 1: Prepare the chicken breast.


First, rinse the chicken breast, peel and dry. Put the poultry meat in a pan, fill it with water and put on fire. If desired, you can add allspice and bay leaf. Cook the chicken breast until cooked, i.e. 20-25 minutes after the water boils.
Remove the boiled chicken from the pan, cool and separate the pulp from the bones and cartilage. Cut the meat into strips or tear it into fibers.

Step 2: Prepare the potatoes and carrots.


Put the potatoes and carrots in the sink and rinse thoroughly, cleaning off the adhering dirt and earth. Fold well-washed vegetables in a pan, pour water, bring to a boil and cook over medium heat for 40 minutes. After that, be sure to check if the ingredients are cooked, for this, pierce them with a knife, if it gently and easily enters the pulp and just as easily comes out, then the vegetables are ready. Take everything out of the water and cool.
Peel the boiled potatoes and carrots from the skin, just peeling it off with a knife. Grind the peeled vegetables with a medium grater. But do not mix these ingredients with each other yet.

Step 3: Prepare the mushrooms.


First of all, champignons need to be sorted out, removing all the darkening with a knife. Then put the mushrooms in a colander and rinse thoroughly with running water. Dry, securing them to weight.
After washing, put the ingredients on a cutting board and cut into thin slices. It remains only to fry the mushrooms. To do this, place them in a preheated pan greased with vegetable oil. Cook over medium heat for 20-25 minutes stirring all the time to avoid burning. It is also necessary at the end to salt and pepper the mushrooms to taste.

Step 4: Prepare the eggs.


Put the eggs in a small pan, fill with water and cook for 10-12 minutes after boiling. After cooking, cool the ingredient by placing it abruptly in ice water, and then peel off the shell.
To prepare this salad after cooking and cleaning, you need to grind the eggs on a grater. There is no need to separate the yolks from the proteins.

Step 5: Prepare the Cheese.


Just grate the cheese, but moisten the grater first. This will improve gliding by preventing adhesion and, as a result, speed up the process.

Step 6: Form a salad with chicken and fried mushrooms.


When all the ingredients are prepared and cooled, it remains only to collect them in a salad. To do this, prepare a suitably sized salad bowl. The first layer of this salad is chicken. So put it on the bottom of the dishes, evenly spreading over the entire area. Put the fried mushrooms on top of the chicken, but first drain the vegetable oil from them. The further layer consists entirely of grated potatoes, but after laying it is necessary to sprinkle with salt, and only then lay the carrots, which goes in the order of the next. Then eggs, and after them a layer of mayonnaise, which is laid out with a tablespoon. And to make the salad juicier, this layer needs to be made thicker, but the main thing is not to overdo it. Finally, sprinkle grated cheese on top.
Put the formed salad in the refrigerator for 1 hour. This time should be enough for it to become saturated and fully prepared.

Step 7: Serve the salad with chicken and fried mushrooms.


Serve the chicken and fried mushrooms salad only after it is fully infused, otherwise it will be dry and not at all so tasty. But, if you stand it the right time, you can fully enjoy the wonderful and delicate taste of the dish.
