Chicken legs roll


Ingredients for Making Chicken Leg Roll

  1. Large chicken leg 3 pieces

Cooking chicken roll:

Step 1: prepare the champignons.


The mushrooms are thoroughly washed under running warm water and put on a cutting board. Using a knife, if necessary, clean the hats and legs from coarsened and spoiled places. Next, grind the components in pieces and pour into a free plate.

Step 2: prepare the onions.


Using a knife, peel the onion from the husk and then thoroughly rinse it under running water. We lay out the component on a cutting board and finely chop into cubes. Pour the chopped onion into a clean plate.

Step 3: prepare the tomato.


Wash the tomato well under running warm water, shake off excess liquid and put it on a cutting board. Using a knife, peel the vegetable from the stalk and then cut it in half. Finely chop each part into cubes, and then gently move the tomato into a free plate.

Step 4: prepare hard cheese.


Using a coarse grater, grate hard cheese directly on the cutting board. Then pour the chips into a clean plate and proceed to the preparation of garlic.

Step 5: prepare the garlic.


We put the garlic on a cutting board and lightly press down with the edge of the knife. Next, with clean hands, peel the cloves from the husks and rinse under running water.

We lay out the components back on a flat surface and finely chop with the same inventory. Pour the crushed garlic in a free saucer.

Step 6: prepare the filling for the dish.


Pour a small amount of vegetable oil into the pan and put on medium heat. When it warms up well, pour finely chopped onions into the container. From time to time, stirring with a wooden spatula, fry the component until transparent. Now add the crushed champignons here and continue cooking. When all the liquid comes out of the mushrooms and the components are browned, turn off the burner, and set the pan aside. Let the mushrooms with onions become warm.

In a medium bowl, spread chopped tomatoes, garlic, cheese chips, as well as warm mushroom roasting. Pouring salt and freshly ground black pepper here to taste, mix everything thoroughly with a tablespoon. We should get a beautiful homogeneous mass. This will be the filling for the dish.

Step 7: prepare the chicken legs.


Thoroughly wash the chicken legs under running warm water, wipe it with kitchen paper towels, and then put it on a cutting board. Using a knife, carefully make an incision from the inside and get the bone and tendons. Important: skin must be left intact. Prepared meat is moved to a clean plate.

Step 8: prepare the chicken roll


We cover the kitchen table with a small piece of food foil. We spread one chicken ham here and begin to form a dish. Pour on the edge of the meat somewhere 2 tablespoons fillings and then wrap it so that it is completely inside and does not look out on the sides of the roll.

Next, wrap everything in foil and put it on a baking sheet. We perform the same operation with other chicken hams and the remaining filling.

Now turn on the oven and heat it to a temperature 180-200 degrees. Immediately after that we put the container on the middle level and bake the dish for 30 minutes. After the allotted time with the help of kitchen tacks, we take out a baking sheet from there and carefully release the rolls from the food foil. We put the container back in the oven and extend the cooking time for 10 minutes. So we get a beautiful golden crust. At the end, turn off the oven, and take out the pan and set aside. Let the rolls cool slightly.

Step 9: serve chicken roll.


We shift the chicken rolls into a special plate and use a knife to cut into portions. If desired, the dish can be decorated with fresh herbs and vegetables. But rolls can be served both as an appetizer for the festive table, or as a main dish with side dishes such as mashed potatoes, boiled rice, baked vegetables, as well as all kinds of fresh greens salads.

Recipe Tips:

- In addition to the ingredients specified in the recipe, others can be put in the filling to your taste. For example, grated soft cheese with finely chopped dill, mayonnaise and garlic, or fresh vegetables (carrots, green beans, leeks, bell peppers), which during baking will give juice and soak meat. Experiment, in any case, it will turn out tasty and aromatic;

- if you can’t make sure that the filling does not fall out of the chicken legs, then you can stitch the meat along the edge with an ordinary thread, and after cooking, carefully cut it;

- For the preparation of such a dish, it is best to use the ham of fresh broiler chicken. Then the dish turns out not only tastier, but also softer.
