Cooking baked vegetables in the oven:

Step 1: Prepare the tomatoes.


The first step is to prepare all the ingredients. Rinse the tomatoes with hot running water, cut out the seal from which the tail used to grow. Cut the vegetables into thin slices, but do not overdo it, otherwise they will fall apart during cooking.

Step 2: Prepare the potatoes.


First peel the potatoes, of course, it is more convenient to use a special knife for this. Rinse clean root vegetables with water and cut into thin slices just like tomatoes.

Step 3: Prepare the zucchini.


Fill the zucchini in the sink, turn on the water and thoroughly wipe the vegetable with a special soft brush or sponge to remove all dirt. Cut the ends on both sides and cut the ingredient into circles. Important: if you chose a stale zucchini, which managed to acquire a hard skin, then it should first be cut with a knife.

Step 4: Prepare the bell pepper.


Cut bell pepper into halves and cut the tail together with the core and seeds. Crush the vegetable with thin strips or half rings.

Step 5: Prepare the onion.


Peel the husk from the onion first, removing it like a film, and cut off the ends. Cut this component into rings or half rings, depending on your desire.

Step 6: Prepare the garlic.


Peel the garlic as well as the onion, and then chop it very finely, either in the smallest cubes or in very thin slices.

Step 7: Bake vegetables in the oven.


Set the oven to warm up 200 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, form a dish. Put potato circles on the bottom of the mold, and zucchini on it. Salt and pepper to taste. Now lay out the bell pepper, then sprinkle it with slices of garlic. Stack the tomato slices and onion rings on top. Salt and pepper again. Pour olive oil on top and send the filled form to the oven to bake on 1 hour. During this time, the vegetables will soften, and onions and tomatoes will give juice that permeates all layers. As soon as you get the dish out of the oven, you can immediately start serving it on the table.

Step 8: Serve the baked vegetables.


Baked vegetables are good both as a standalone dish and as a side dish that goes well with any dish. Also, to taste and desire, you can add to them a sauce, for example, tomato or soy. In addition, vegetables prepared according to this recipe are tasty not only hot, but also cold. So enjoy such a simple and incredibly delicious dish.

Recipe Tips:

- To taste, you can top with vegetables sour cream or mayonnaise, but then the dish ceases to be dietary and light.

- You can also sprinkle vegetables with grated cheese, but you need to do this no earlier than 10-15 minutes until ready, otherwise it will turn out not a delicious crisp, but a cinder.
