Oven ingredients for cooking zucchini with minced meat

Cooking zucchini with minced meat in the oven:
Step 1: prepare the filling.
First defrost minced meat, putting it in advance from the freezer so that it thaws, as they say, naturally at room temperature.
Prepare the bulb too, peeling it from the husk and rinse with cool water. After chop the vegetable into small cubes. And if you do not like the light crunch that this ingredient gives, then you can grind it even more. To do this, for example, grate it or pass through a meat grinder.
In a deep bowl, combine thawed minced meat and chopped onions. Add salt and black and red ground pepper to taste. Mix all the ingredients together, turning them into a homogeneous, slightly sticky mass.
Step 2: prepare the zucchini.
Place the zucchini in the sink and rinse thoroughly, cleaning off any adhering dirt. And then comes one very important nuance. So, if you chose a young zucchini, the peel of which is very soft and thin, then you do not need to peel it off, but for larger vegetables the peel hardens and becomes unsuitable for food, so it must be cut off with a knife.
Peeled and washed zucchini cut plump, literally on 4-5 centimeters columns. By the way, the width of the pieces can also be calculated based on the height of the baking dish.
With a teaspoon, scrape the flesh from the zucchini, making a kind of cup. Be careful not to make a hole in the bottom. This, of course, is nothing particularly terrible, but it is better not to allow this to happen.
Step 3: prepare the cheese.
Grind a piece of cheese with a grater, and so that it does not stick in the process, moisten the appliance with cool water.
Step 4: prepare the zucchini with minced meat in the oven.
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees Celsius. Remove the pan and grease it with a little vegetable oil. Place zucchini cups on its bottom and sprinkle them with ground pepper or other seasonings to taste. Place a mixture of minced meat and onions with a teaspoon inside the vegetables and squeeze them, tightly compressing the meat. You don’t need to make a big pot, because on top we will still sprinkle everything with cheese, but not now, first put the baking tray with zucchini in the already heated oven. Bake until the vegetables are soft, but have not yet reached full readiness. It may take until 1 hour.
Then remove the zucchini from the oven, sprinkle each with plenty of cheese and return it back. Continue cooking until the cheese melts and a crispy crust forms on its surface, and the vegetables and meat are finally baked. After this, the zucchini can be considered fully prepared and served.
Step 5: serve the squash with minced meat.
Serve the zucchini cooked in the oven and serve as a completely independent dish to the table, because it only needs some low-fat sauce and a delicious home-made bun. That's all, call everyone to the table, until the crown dish of today's dinner has cooled down and proceed to the meal.
