Potato Casserole with Cheese


Ingredients for Cooking Potato Casseroles with Cheese

Cooking potato casseroles with cheese:

Step 1: Cook the cheese mass.


Grind hard cheese and parmesan using a medium-sized grater. And then mix them together in a deep plate and dump the melted cheese there. Thoroughly mix all types of cheeses with each other so that they form a single mass.

Step 2: Prepare the potatoes.


Rinse the potatoes with warm water and, using a special knife for peeling vegetables, remove the skin from the tubers. After cleaning, rinse the vegetables thoroughly with water again, washing away the adhering dirt and sand with a jet. Cut clean potatoes into thin circles, not more than 3-4 millimeters in thickness.
Fold the potato wedges into an empty plate, salt, pepper to taste and add 1/2 of the cheese mass to it. Mix well.

Step 3: Cook the potato casserole with cheese.


Set the oven to warm up 180 degrees Celsius. Grease the baking dish with vegetable oil, not forgetting the edges. Put the potatoes mixed with cheese in it, and pour the remaining cheese mass on top of it, flatten with a spoon. To prevent the top burning out during cooking, cover it with foil. Send the form to the oven at 50 minutes or 1 hour. During this time, the potatoes should be completely baked and soaked in cheese. And so that the dish is covered with a delicious crispy crust, for 10-15 minutes remove the foil before cooking.

Step 4: Serve the potato casserole with cheese.


As soon as the casserole is ready, remove it from the oven and, carefully cutting it with a metal spatula, divide into portions, immediately laying out the dish on plates.
