Ingredients for Making Shanghai Salad

Cooking Shanghai Salad:
Step 1: Preparing the dressing.
In a blender bowl, add cilantro greens, peeled garlic cloves, peeled seeds and chopped bell pepper in small slices. Pour in white rice vinegar, lime juice, soy sauce and vegetable oil, pour sugar and mix everything with a blender. You should get a homogeneous mass of green.
Step 2: Prepare the chicken.
Rinse chicken skin without bones and skin with cool running water, dry it with disposable paper towels and, slightly placed on a cutting board. After salt and pepper the poultry meat.
Heat a little vegetable oil in a pan and fry the prepared chicken fillet over moderate heat until cooked. It takes me no more 20 minutes. After frying, cool the chicken and cut into thin strips or small cubes.
Place the prepared chicken in a dressing prepared previously from cilantro and lime juice, and leave on 30 minutes minimum, and better on 1 - 1.5 hours.
Step 3: Prepare vegetables, tangerines and greens.
Rinse romaine and iceberg lettuce. Dry and cut them into squares about 3 centimeters wide.
Peel the carrots, rinse with warm water, and then cut into thin strips. Korean carrot grater will do the job best.
Wash the radish, cut off the remains of the tops and thin root, and then chop the vegetable in thin circles.
Rinse cabbage, rinse off excess moisture and chop thin strips.
Rinse the tomato, divide into four parts, remove the seal on its top and take out the seeds with a spoon. Cut the remaining tomato flesh into small cubes.
Tangerine slices carefully get rid of seeds and whitish partitions. Only the flesh should remain.
Wash green onions, cut and discard the white part, and chop the remaining feather very finely with a knife.
Pour all the prepared ingredients into a deep salad bowl, add the grated Parmesan cheese, olive oil, dried basil, as well as salt and pepper to taste. Gently mix all the ingredients with each other, but just do not crush the mandarin slices.
Step 4: Mix Shanghai Salad
On mixed vegetables, lettuce, cabbage and mandarin slices, put the chicken marinated in a special dressing. Mix and serve ready-made Shanghai salad to the table.
Step 5: Serve Shanghai Salad.
