Toasting with cheese and pear:
Step 1: Prepare the pears.
Choose a couple of juicy and ripe pears, always solid, not loose, and rinse them with warm running water. Remove the twig, cut into several pieces and remove also the seed core. And at the end, cut the pears into thin slices. The peel, as you should have noted, is not necessary to remove from the fruit.
Step 2: Prepare the onion.
Peel the red onion, cut off all the excess and cut it in half, chop it.
Step 3: Prepare the cheese.
Break the blue cheese with your hands or a fork to make a rather large crumb.
Step 4: Fry the pears and onions.
In a pan, heat about one tablespoon of vegetable oil and add onions. While stirring occasionally, fry it until it begins to change color. Add slices of pears and quite a bit of salt, not more than a quarter teaspoon. Cook over medium heat for 15-20 minutesuntil the fruits are soft. Just don’t overlook the moment when the time comes to remove everything from the fire so that the pears do not begin to disintegrate.
Step 5: Cook the cheese and pear toasts.
Prepare slices of bread by placing them on a heat-resistant baking sheet covered with baking paper and greasing each slice with a little olive oil. Send them warmed up 170-180 degrees oven on 3 minutes, just to toasts covered with a golden brown.
Put the fried slices of pears and onions on the browned bread, sprinkle them with mold cheese crumbs and return everything to the hot oven. Cook until the cheese melts, approximately 1-2 minutes. Then remove the finished toasts with pear and cheese from the oven and immediately serve them on the table.
Step 6: Serve the cheese and pear toasts.
Place the finished toasts with cheese and pear on serving plates, pour them with a small amount of honey, which can also be artistically spilled on a plate for beauty, and serve for breakfast or afternoon snack. This is how you can prepare a gourmet and unusual breakfast in less than half an hour.
Enjoy your meal!
- Ready toasts with pear and cheese can also be decorated with pine nuts or walnuts.
- If you do not really like blue cheese, mix it with some neutral, with ordinary goat cheese, for example.
- Conference Conference pears are best for preparing this dish. They are quite hard and aromatic, and therefore toasts with them are obtained as they should.
