Cooking compote from apples with grapes for the winter:

Step 1: prepare the apples.


Rinse the apples properly. If desired, you can rinse the fruit with a brush or just peel them from the skin. One way or another, peeled apples cut into slices. Remove the twigs and seed cores.

Step 2: prepare the grapes.


Grapes brushes carefully examine and remove all spoiled and spoiled grapes. Then rinse and dry. You do not need to remove all the grapes from the brushes, you can put it in jars directly with the twigs, just cut the thick base and, if the brush is very large, divide it into several parts.

Step 3: prepare a compote of apples with grapes.


Arrange prepared fruits in dry, sterilized and warmed (in the oven or microwave) jars. Pour them with boiling water, and then, after a couple of minutes, drain this water into the pan.
From the drained water, prepare the syrup by boiling it again and adding granulated sugar. While stirring, dissolve sugar in boiling water without residue.

Pour fruit with hot syrup and add citric acid if desired (1 teaspoon for a 3 liter jar, and 1/2 teaspoon for a 1 liter jar). Immediately roll up the jars, wrap them with a blanket or a kitchen towel and leave them as they are on 1 day. Then remove the "fur coat" and store the apple compote with grapes as a regular harvest in a dark and cool place.

Step 4: serve stewed apples with grapes.


Serve apple compote with grapes, diluting to taste with water, like other compotes. This drink will remind you of sunny summer and will saturate your body with vitamins, which we miss so much in winter.
