Fresh cabbage cabbage with chicken


Ingredients for Making Fresh Cabbage Soup with Chicken

Cooking cabbage soup with chicken:

Step 1: Cook the chicken stock.


To prepare the broth, you can take any parts of the chicken, for example, a soup set. The bird must be thawed, washed, inspected (all of a sudden, you will find a sticking feather that is definitely worth tearing out).
Put the prepared chicken in a pan, pour clean cold water and put on fire. Add some salt. And also for taste, be sure to put one peeled carrot and onion, you do not need to cut vegetables.
Cook until poultry meat is cooked. Do not forget to occasionally remove foam from the broth (it is easiest to do this with a slotted spoon).

Step 2: Prepare the cabbage.


While the chicken stock is being cooked, there is time to prepare all the vegetable ingredients.
You need to peel the cabbage from the upper leaves, remove the stalk, and then chop with thin strips, which will be much easier if you have a special knife for cutting vegetables.

Step 3: Prepare the onion.


Peel the onion, rinse with cool water, and then cut into medium-sized cubes or thin feathers. And to make it more comfortable to work with onions, and not to shed tears in vain, a knife for cutting it should be moistened with cold water.

Step 4: Prepare the carrots.


Rinse the carrots, peel them, and then cut into strips or grate on a coarse grater. Korean carrot grater is also great.

Step 5: Prepare the potatoes.


The potato must first be washed first, and only then peel it from the skin, but even after peeling the root crops, it is also necessary to rinse well with water. Cut the prepared potatoes into medium-sized cubes or cubes.

Step 6: Prepare the tomatoes.


Rinse the tomatoes, dip in a plate with boiling water on 5-10 minutes. Remove the peel from the vegetables, and cut the remaining pulp into medium-sized cubes.

Step 7: Fry the vegetables.


In a frying pan (or in a saucepan, to whom it is more convenient) heat the vegetable oil. Pour the onion into the oil and fry it until transparent, for 1-2 minutest. Then add carrots to the onion, mix and stew more 1-2 minutes.

Put tomatoes onion with carrots and add granulated sugar. Stir everything well and simmer over medium heat. 1-2 minutes. After that, the frying will be ready, remove the frying pan with vegetables from the heat and let it stand for a while aside.

Step 8: Prepare Chicken Meat.


Chicken meat has already been cooked. Remove the pan with the broth from the heat and get the chicken from there along with the onion and carrot. Vegetables can be safely thrown away, they have completed their task. Put the bird on a cutting board and cool slightly. Then be sure to remove and discard the skin. After separating the meat from the bones and cut it into strips or cubes of medium size, the main thing is that the pieces are not large.

Step 9: Cook the cabbage soup with fresh chicken and chicken.


Return the pot with broth to the fire, add potatoes to it and bring everything to a boil. Once the soup boils, put fresh cabbage in it, and then onions, carrots and tomatoes fried in vegetable oil. Stir, season the soup with salt and ground black pepper. It remains only to cook everything until the potatoes are fully cooked, and a minute before removing the cabbage soup from the fire, add black pepper, peppercorn bay leaf and chopped chicken meat to them.
Immediately after cooking, remove the soup from the heat, cover the pan with cabbage soup and let it brew for 10-15 minutesbefore you start serving.

Step 10: Serve the cabbage soup with fresh chicken.


Fresh cabbage soup with chicken is a full-fledged dish, which is not only very tasty, but also undoubtedly useful. It’s not for nothing that cabbage soup is a traditional Russian dish.
