Ingredients for Cooking Sea Buckthorn

- Honey 150 grams

- Ginger 30-40 grams
- Orange 2 pieces
- Sea buckthorn 80 grams

Cooking with sea buckthorn:
Step 1: Prepare a sea buckthorn broth.
Rinse the sea-buckthorn, sort out, removing garbage, then put it in a pan, fill it with clean water and put everything on fire. After the water boils, sea buckthorn must be boiled for another 15 minutes with a slow boil. When the foam appears, remove the pan from the heat and strain the broth properly. After leaving it to cool at room temperature.
Step 2: Cook the rest of the ingredients.
In the meantime, pour 1 liter of water into a clean pan. Add honey, peeled and chopped into small pieces, ginger root, cloves, cinnamon and orange, cut into thin slices. Mix everything until honey is dissolved and, putting on medium heat, boil for 10 minutes.
Cool the prepared broth, and then strain to remove all the spices and boiled slices of ginger and orange.
Step 3: Mix the buckwheat and buckthorn.
Mix honey broth with sea buckthorn to make a drink that is uniform in consistency.
Step 4: Serve the sea buckthorn sbiten.
