Ingredients for Making Vegetable Holiday Salad

  6. Pickled cucumbers 4 pieces (large)
  7. Canned corn (with chili) 1 can
  8. Bulgarian pepper red 1/2 pieces or 1 small
  9. Tomato 1 piece (large)
  10. 1/2 parsley bunch
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Ground black pepper to taste
  13. Mayonnaise 3 tablespoons
  14. Greek yogurt 1 tablespoon
  15. Sour cream 1 tablespoon

Preparation of vegetable holiday salad:

Step 1: prepare vegetables and celery root.

Cook the potato in its jacket until it is ready, and then cool and remove the skin.
Carrots can be boiled with potatoes and peeled after it is ready.
Cook the celery root separately, first peel it, rinse, and then dip it in cold water and cook for 20-30 minutes after boiling.
After cooking, all vegetables must be cooled, and only then cut into small cubes.
Tomatoes need to be peeled (to simplify the task, first boil the tomatoes in boiling water 30 secondsand then sharply dip in cold water), and then cut into cubes.
Peel the bell peppers from the seeds, rinse with water and cut into cubes as well.
Cut the leek into small pieces.
Drain excess water from canned corn.

Step 2: prepare the pickles.

Cut pickles into small pieces, and to prevent the salad from getting too wet, fold the pickles in a strainer after cutting and let the excess brine drain.

Step 3: prepare the eggs.

Boil chicken eggs until cooked, then cool by sharply lowering them in cold water. Once the eggs have cooled, peel them and cut them into cubes.
Attention: when preparing this salad, it is very important to consider that all the ingredients should be cut into cubes of approximately the same size, so the structure of the salad will be more uniform.

Step 4: mix and serve the vegetable holiday salad.

And then everything is simple. Combine all the ingredients prepared for the salad together, add mayonnaise, Greek yogurt and sour cream, salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything well and transfer to a beautiful salad bowl.
Now, in order to turn an ordinary vegetable salad into a festive one, cut out the stars from the bell pepper, make a rose out of a tomato and beautifully lay it all on top. And do not forget about fresh parsley. Also, use corn grains and slices of pickles as a decoration.
