Cooking fish steaks in the oven:

Step 1: prepare the fish.

Fish steaks should be fresh or thawed. In the case of halibut, you need to take one large steak and cut it in half across.
Rinse the fish, wipe with disposable paper towels, salt, pepper and leave for a couple of minutes at room temperature.

Step 2: prepare the tomatoes.

Rinse cherry tomatoes, dry and halve.

Step 3: cook fish steaks in the oven.

In a pan, melt butter over low heat, mixing it with vegetable oil. Add garlic, dill and green onions here, mix, warm a little and remove from heat. Immediately add freshly squeezed lemon juice, cherry tomatoes, salt and ground pepper. Mix thoroughly to make a kind of sauce.
Put the fish steaks in the same pan and pour the sauce on top.

Put the fish steaks in preheated until 190 degrees the oven. And cook everything for 20 minutes. But, later 11-12 minutes fish steaks need to be turned on the other side so that they are well baked on all sides.
As soon as you take the finished fish out of the oven, it should immediately be served at the table for lunch or dinner.

Step 4: Serve the fish steaks in the oven.

Transfer the oven-baked fish steaks to a serving plate, pour the sauce remaining in the pan over the top, lay the halves of the tomato and serve. A vegetable salad is best served as a side dish, but boiled rice or pasta will also come in handy.
Enjoy your meal!
