Ingredients for making potato patties with mushroom gravy
- Potato 1 kilogram
- Wheat flour 3 tablespoons
- Eggs 3 pieces
- Onion 1 piece

Deep plate, grater, frying pan - 2 pieces, a tablespoon, a spatula, a kitchen knife, a cutting board, disposable paper towels.
Cooking potato patties with mushroom sauce:
Step 1: Prepare the potatoes.
Rinse and peel the potatoes. Then grind it with a fine grater. Squeeze the potato flesh lightly to get rid of excess fluid.
Add half the onion, chopped into small cubes, to the grated potatoes.
Grind a clove of garlic and also add it to the grated potatoes.
Then add chicken eggs, 2 tablespoons of flour, salt and pepper to taste there. And mix everything very well to get a homogeneous mass.
Step 2: Fry the potato patties.
Spread the resulting potato mass in a heated skillet with butter. Fry until golden brown on both sides, i.e. for 3-4 minutes from each side. And before turning potato patties for the first time, make sure they are seized and well-fried on one side.
To remove excess oil, after frying, place the patties on disposable paper towels.
Step 3: Cook the mushroom sauce.
Along the way with frying cutlets, prepare mushroom sauce. To do this, first rinse and peel the mushrooms, and then cut them into small pieces and leave to fry in the pan together with the remaining half of the onion.
Add salt and spices, and then simmer everything over medium heat for 10 minutesstirring occasionally.
At the end, add 1 tablespoon of wheat flour, mix and pour the cream. Stirring, bring everything to a boil and remove from heat. Check for salt and spices, if necessary, add a little of both.
Step 4: Serve the potato patties with mushroom sauce.
Serve potato patties need to be densely pouring them with mushroom gravy. All served hot. No side dish or additional sauce is needed, everything turns out tasty, juicy and satisfying. The mushroom gravy smells delicious. You don’t even have to call anyone at the table, everyone will come running for a delicious creamy mushroom flavor.
