Cooking pork chops in chanterelle sauce:

Step 1: prepare the chanterelles.

You need to start cooking by soaking the chanterelles. Soak the mushrooms in cool water so that all the leaves and grains of sand come off from the hats and legs. Then throw the chanterelles into a colander and rinse them with water a few more times, and then leave to dry on weight.

Step 2: prepare the pork chops.

Pork chops should be about 2-2.5 centimeters. Sprinkle them with salt and pepper on all sides, and then lightly beat the meat with a hammer.
Peel onions and cut into cubes, half rings or feathers, it all depends on how large pieces of onions you prefer.

Step 3: fry the chops.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan, place pork chops in it and fry for several minutes on each side until cooked. And so that the meat is fried inside and at the same time does not burn out outside, cook it over medium heat.
When the meat is almost ready, add the onion so that it is slightly stewed with pork.

Remove the finished chops from the pan and transfer them to a separate plate for the time being.
Attention: try not to pierce the chops during cooking, leaving the juice inside the meat, in order to turn the pork or remove it from the pan, use tongs or a spatula, but not a fork or knife.

Step 4: prepare pork chops in chanterelle sauce.

When the onion is softer, add the chanterelles to it and, stirring frequently, cook everything together until the excess liquid evaporates.
Now salt, pepper, add flour and fry still about 1-2 minutesmixing just as often.
Dissolve sour cream in a small amount of water (depending on how thick the sauce you want to get), and then pour it all into a skillet with chanterelles and onions. Stir often so that the flour does not thicken in lumps. Continue to warm the sauce until it is the right consistency.
Add at the end to the pan with chanterelle sauce chops, warm everything together for a couple of seconds, and then remove from heat and serve.

Step 5: serve pork chops in chanterelle sauce.

Serve the pork chops in the chanterelle sauce hot. As a side dish, choose mashed potatoes, rice or pasta. A salad of fresh cucumbers, onions and sour cream is also perfect. Here is such a simple and at the same time elegant dish for the whole family.
Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- Instead of sour cream, you can use cream of 15-18% fat, in which case you do not need to add water, the sauce is already quite liquid.
