Ingredients for Salad with Herring, Apple and Leek
- Salted herring fillet 350 grams
- Apples 150 grams
- Lemon juice 1 tablespoon

Making salad with herring, apple and leek:
Step 1: prepare herring fillet.
Rinse herring fillet, soak in cold water and leave on 30-40 minutes. After the specified time, remove the fish, dry it with paper towels and, making sure that there are no bones in the fillet, cut into cubes.
Step 2: prepare the leek.
Rinse the leek properly with running water, dry it, cut it in half lengthwise, and then crumble with thin half rings.
Step 3: prepare the apples.
Peel the apple from the peel and seeds, remove the twigs, and then cut the remaining pulp into small cubes (about the same as herring cubes).
Fold the prepared apples in a salad bowl, pour them with lemon juice and mix with leek.
Step 4: add the herring.
Add herring to a salad bowl for onions and apples, mix all the ingredients together.
Step 5: add spices and salad dressing.
Season the salad with yogurt and mayonnaise, and then mix everything very carefully again.
Add a pinch of oregano and ground pepper to the salad. Again, mix all the ingredients together. And you're done! You can serve!
