Making salad with red cabbage and raisins:
Step 1: prepare the cabbage.
Rinse the red cabbage properly, select dry and dry leaves and discard them. Chop the remaining into thin strips, transfer to a salad bowl, add a pinch of salt, mix and leave to stand for 20 minutes.
Step 2: prepare the apples.
Peel the apples from twigs and cores, rinse and grate on a coarse or medium grater. Add to cabbage. And so that the pulp of apples does not darken, pour it with a small amount of lemon juice.
Step 3: prepare the leek.
Rinse the leek, cut into small slices and blanch. Then flip it over in a colander and wait for the leek to cool. After that you can add onions to the salad.
Step 4: prepare the raisins.
Rinse thoroughly, soak for 5-7 minutes in hot water, cool and add to the salad.
Step 5: add the spices.
You should combine all the prepared ingredients in a salad bowl. Now it remains only to add to them various spices indicated in the list of ingredients. (Besides sugar, you can’t add it at all, try it.) Add a little more salt at the end, if necessary, and mix everything.
Step 6: insist salad with red cabbage and raisins.
Pour vegetable oil into the salad, mix again properly, cover with a lid or plastic wrap and refrigerate 20 minutes, about. This is necessary so that all the ingredients and spices are mixed.
Step 7: serve salad with red cabbage and raisins.
Serve the salad with red cabbage and raisins cool. It goes well with pasta, rice, cereals, boiled or baked potatoes. Tasty, healthy and simple. Worth a try!
Enjoy your meal!
- Store the prepared salad in a closed container in the refrigerator. The next day, the dish will be even tastier.
