Cooking dumplings with blueberries:

Step 1: prepare the dough.

Pour wheat flour onto a dry worktop. Make a hand on the top of this hill and put an egg yolk in it, fill in a tablespoon of vegetable oil and salt.

Start kneading the dough with a knife so that the flour absorbs the yolk and butter. When the center mixes, begin to gradually add hot water, continuing to knead.
The mass in the end is soft, but not sticky or liquid.

When the dough becomes homogeneous, continue to knead it for another 5 minutes. Then roll it into a ball, cover with something so that it does not weather and leave on 30 minutes relax.

Step 2: Sugar the berries.

Shortly before the dough comes up, prepare the berries. Blueberries need to be washed, sorted and dried, and then mixed with powdered sugar (you can just with sugar, white or brown).
Do not leave candied berries for a long time, otherwise they will let the juice go. Hurry up and make dumplings out of them.

Step 3: sculpt the dumplings.

Divide the dough into three parts and take one third. Roll out the mass with a rolling pin in a very thin layer, if you have a machine for making noodles, then roll out the dough with it.

Take a glass and cut them into equal round dough. Place candied blueberries in the center of each disk and tightly clamp the edges of the dumplings.

To prevent the dumplings from breaking up, walk along their edges with warm water, so the dough sticks together better.
You will get about 50 dumplings.

Step 4: cook the dumplings with blueberries.

In a saucepan, boil salted water and throw your dumplings with blueberries into it. Cook for 4 minutes over medium heat, and then remove the items with a slotted spoon and serve hot to the table.

Step 5: serve the dumplings with blueberries.

Dumplings with blueberries can be greased right after cooking with butter and served with sour cream and / or powdered sugar, thick homemade cream will do the same. A wonderful dish at any time of the day or year, it’s a pity that fresh blueberries are not so easy to get out of season.
Enjoy your meal!
