Winter beetroot with horseradish


Ingredients for cooking beets with horseradish for the winter

Step 1: prepare the ingredients.

Grate peeled beets and horseradish. And to make it easier, it is better to do this not with a hand grater, but with a blender.
Then mix the chopped root vegetables, add coarse salt to them and mix well, pressing down so that the beets release juice.

Step 2: put the beets with horseradish in jars.


Place the salad in clean (washed with soda and sterilized in the oven, microwave or steamed) jars. Tightly stack and pour vinegar on top.
Attention: take small jars, as the snack is spicy, you won’t eat it a lot at a time, so it will leave slowly.
Keep tightly closed jars in a cool, dark place, such as a pantry, and after opening, rearrange beets with horseradish in the refrigerator.
