Ingredients for making apple roll
- 5 apples
- Vanilla Sugar 2 teaspoons
- Ground cinnamon 2 teaspoons
- Lemon juice 2 tablespoons
- 6 eggs
- Wheat flour 3/4 cup
- Sugar 1/3 cup
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- Pure water 2 tablespoons

Cooking apple roll:
Step 1: prepare the apples.
Peel the apples, core and chop the fruit into thin slices.
Step 2: put the apples on a baking sheet.
Cover the baking tray with parchment and put apple slices on it in one layer. Pour the fruit with lemon juice on top, so the apples will not darken, and then sprinkle the slices with ground cinnamon and vanilla sugar.
Step 3: prepare the dough.
First separate the egg yolks from the proteins.
Whisk the whites with a mixer in a thick foam. Then add sugar to them and mix.
Reduce the mixer speed to a minimum and add one yolk to the proteins, carefully stirring the mass after each.
At the very end, add sifted flour, baking powder for the dough and water to the dough. Knead homogeneous batter.
Step 4: pour apples with dough.
Pour the resulting dough onto apples, distributing the mass in an even layer.
Step 5: bake the dough with apples.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake dough with apples in it for 20-25 minutes. Readiness can be checked with a toothpick; it should be dry at the exit of the dough.
After baking, put the dough with apples on a kitchen towel so that the slices of fruit are on top. Remove the parchment.
Step 6: turn the roll.
Helping yourself with a cloth, roll the apple roll, starting from the smallest (meek) side. Allow the apple roll to cool to room temperature, then sprinkle with icing sugar and serve.
Step 7: serve the apple roll.
