Ingredients for making salad with tongue, mushrooms and pickles
- Beef tongue (you can use pork) 400 grams
- Marinated mushrooms 300 grams
- 5 pickled cucumbers
- Mayonnaise 5-6 tablespoons
- Ground black pepper to taste

Making a salad with tongue, mushrooms and pickles:
Step 1: prepare the language.
Wash your tongue and cook for a long time, for 2 hours. Then clean the meat from the film so that only tender flesh remains.
In order for your salad to look good on a plate, all the ingredients must be cut into strips. How to do it? The tongue must first be cut into thin slices, and then put a few slices into each other and cut them into strips. So much for the straw!
Step 2: prepare the mushrooms.
Rinse the mushrooms from the marinade. Cut large mushrooms into strips, just like meat, but small ones can be left whole. Hats leave for decoration, if you want.
Step 3: prepare the cucumbers.
Rinse the cucumbers with cold water, and then cut into strips, as well as the other ingredients.
Step 4: mix the salad with the tongue, mushrooms and pickles.
Put mushrooms, tongue and cucumbers in a salad bowl, add mayonnaise, black pepper and mix. And that’s all! Even no salt is needed. Everything turns out very simple and very tasty.
Serve immediately after cooking or chilled.

A salad with tongue, mushrooms and pickles will decorate any table, any celebration, but I personally associate it with the New Year, probably because this salad is always present on my table on New Year's Eve.
