Making Coconut Chocolate Cake:
Step 1: prepare the dough.
Melt bitter dark chocolate with butter immediately in a water bath, mix until smooth and until cool, let cool at room temperature.
At the same time, beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt and sugar until a thick and stable foam.
Grind the yolks with sugar separately, and then mix them with melted chocolate until smooth.
Add beaten egg whites and mix gently with a spatula or spoon.
At the end, add sifted wheat flour and baking powder for the dough. All together very well knead. It turns out liquid, like a biscuit, a dough.
Step 2: bake the cake.
Pour the finished dough onto a rectangular baking sheet and smooth its surface, trying to make the edges thicker than the middle.
Bake the cake in preheated 180 degrees oven for 35-40 minutes. Check readiness with a toothpick or skewer: stick into the dough, take out and look; if there are pieces of mass on the skewer, then the cake is not ready yet.
After baking, the chocolate cake must be allowed to cool.
Step 3: prepare coke cream.
To prepare the cream, mix sugar, semolina and milk in a bowl.
Gradually heat the cream, stirring constantly, so that no lumps form. Add when the cream is hot, coconut and butter. Continue stirring and heating until the mass is thick enough. Remove from heat and cool the cream a little, but it should remain warm.
Step 4: apply coconut cream and chocolate icing.
Apply warm coconut cream to the cake and smooth its surface.
Melt the icing chocolate in a water bath by mixing it with butter, and then apply the resulting mass on top of your cake.
Now let the coconut-chocolate cake cool completely and you can serve it.
Step 5: serve the coconut chocolate cake.
Coconut-chocolate cake when serving, or before serving, you need to cut into rectangular pieces to make cakes that are convenient to take.
Serve a sweet, delicious tea cake. Great treat for guests.
Have a nice tea party!
