Ingredients for Mashed Potatoes and Cauliflower
- Potato 3 pieces
- Cauliflower 3 inflorescences (the size of a potato)
- Salt to taste
- Dill (chopped) 4 tablespoons
- Butter 1 tablespoon
- Nutmeg, grated pinch
- Sesame 1 teaspoon

Saucepan, mashed potato, kitchen knife, cutting board, plate.
Making mashed potatoes and cauliflower:
Step 1: boil the potatoes.
At first everything is simple. Rinse and peel the potatoes, and then send them to boil until cooked in salted water, that is, until the potatoes are easily pierced.
Step 2: cook the cabbage.
And in the same way, cook cauliflower in salted water until soft.
Step 3: prepare mashed potatoes and cauliflower.
Transfer the boiled vegetables to a large plate and mash them by adding butter. All water in which cabbage and boiled potatoes need to be drained. Press the mass until it becomes homogeneous.
Add pepper, nutmeg and salt if necessary. Then, to taste, you can sprinkle mashed potatoes with chopped dill and mix everything thoroughly again.
Step 4: serve mashed potatoes and cauliflower.
You can serve mashed potatoes and cauliflower as usual, simply by laying on a plate, or you can form balls from it, cover them with sesame seeds and put everything beautifully next to the main hot one. Such mashed potatoes are good for meat dishes, and for dishes of fish or poultry, as well as with vegetables, for example, with a vegetarian lecho.
