Ingredients for Cooking Smoked Fish Salad with Potatoes

  1. Smoked fish (mackerel in this case) 150 grams

Cooking smoked fish salad with potatoes:

Step 1: prepare the ingredients.


Lay the smoked fish fillet with your hands into small pieces, simultaneously removing all the bones from it. No need to crush the fish with a fork, slices should remain quite large.
Boil potatoes until cooked in salted water. Then cool the vegetables with cold water and peel them. Cut the boiled potatoes into small cubes.
Rinse the olives with water, dry and cut them into rings.
Also, with rings, you need to chop the red onion peeled from the husk.
Remove the grains from a quarter of the pomegranate, and in order not to splatter everything around with juice, dip a piece of fruit under water and clean it there.

Step 2: mix the smoked fish salad with potatoes.

First (simple): take potatoes, fish, onions, pomegranate and olives, mix them, season with mayonnaise, salt, pepper, season with lemon juice, mix and serve.
The second way to serve salad is the holiday way. For it, you will need a salad dresser and immediately serving plates. But first, mix the potatoes with olives and mayonnaise, salt to taste. Then put the potato salad in a mold, garnish it with smoked fish on top and remove the cookie cutter. Pour the lemon juice over the fish. Around the beautifully spread pomegranate seeds and red onion rings. You can serve!
