Ingredients for Cooking Chicken Legs with Mushrooms
- Chicken legs 6 pieces
- Onion 1 piece
- Sweet red pepper 1 piece
- Canned Mushrooms 300 grams
- Dry white wine 100 milliliters
- Tomato paste 300 milliliters
- Water 200 milliliters
- Garlic 5-6 cloves
- Vegetable oil 50 milliliters

- Thyme 1/2 teaspoon

Cooking chicken legs with mushrooms:
Step 1: prepare the ingredients.
Rinse the chicken legs with cold water and then dry with paper towels.
Peel and rinse the vegetables.
Prepare the same spices and all other ingredients.
Step 2: fry the chicken.
Heat vegetable oil in a pan and, when it warms up, throw chicken legs into it. Fry the drumsticks until golden brown on both sides.
Step 3: add vegetables and mushrooms.
Canned mushrooms are usually small, so I don’t cut them.
But pepper and onion need to crumble into small cubes.
Add mushrooms, onions and peppers to the chicken skillet. Pour in white wine and let it boil, and simmer for about half an hour. Make sure that you do not start to burn.
Step 4: stew chicken legs with mushrooms.
Mix the tomato paste with water and pour into the pan to the mushrooms and chicken. Stir to distribute the liquid.
Add salt, pepper and thyme, mix everything again and continue simmering for more 30 minutesto make the sauce thicker.
Before removing chicken from the heat, add chopped garlic to the dish to give flavor.
Step 5: serve the chicken legs with mushrooms.
Serve chicken legs with mushrooms immediately after cooking, pouring them on top of the sauce remaining in the pan. In addition, you can offer cabbage salad, and pasta or rice are suitable as a side dish.
