Meatballs in creamy mushroom sauce


Ingredients for the preparation of meatballs in a creamy mushroom sauce

For meatballs

  1. Minced meat mixed 500 grams
  2. Salt 1 teaspoon
  3. Ground parsley 2 teaspoons
  4. Onion powder 1 teaspoon
  5. Ground black pepper 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Dried thyme 1/2 teaspoon

For the sauce

  1. Fresh mushrooms 400 grams
  2. Parmesan cheese grated 4 tablespoons
  3. Cream 30% fat 120 milliliters
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Pepper to taste

For frying

  1. Ghee 1 tablespoon
  • Main ingredients: Beef, Pork, Mushrooms, Cheese, Cream

Cooking meatballs in creamy mushroom sauce:

Step 1: prepare the minced meat.


In a bowl, mix all the ingredients for the stuffing with a tablespoon. Stir thoroughly and well so that you get a homogeneous mass, and all the spices are distributed over the meat.

Step 2: fry the meatballs.


With wet hands, form small round meatballs from the meat.

Heat the melted butter in a pan and fry the meat balls in it until golden brown on all sides.
Remove the fried meatballs from the heat, transfer to a plate and set aside.

Step 3: stew the mushrooms.


Wash the mushrooms, peel and cut into thin slices, and then throw them in the same pan where the meatballs were fried and simmer until all the moisture released is completely evaporated.

Step 4: prepare meatballs in a creamy mushroom sauce.


When the liquid evaporates, and the mushrooms are slightly fried, pour the cream into them, add the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper to taste and mix.
Put meatballs in a frying pan in a creamy mushroom sauce and simmer all together over low heat for 10 minutes. Then remove from heat and serve.

Serve meatballs in creamy mushroom sauce hot. As a side dish, it is better to choose something light, for example, steamed vegetables, or boiled rice, boiled pasta also work well.
