Ingredients for Making Soup with Dumplings and Meatballs

For soup:

Cooking soup with dumplings and meatballs:

Step 1: prepare the onion.

Using a knife, peel all onions from the husks and rinse thoroughly under running water. We lay out the component on a cutting board and cut into squares. Attention: Pour the first chopped onion into one plate, and the next into another.

Step 2: prepare the carrots.

With a knife, peel the carrots and rinse thoroughly under running water. Using a coarse grater, grind the component directly on the cutting board and then pour into a clean plate.

Attention: carrots can also be chopped into arbitrary pieces that you like best. After all, the taste of the soup from this will not change.

Step 3: Cooking Meatballs.

In a medium bowl, spread the pork and ground beef, chopped onion and pour out the spices for the meat. Attention: it can be Sunflower Hops seasoning, ground coriander, ground black pepper and more. Now we mix everything thoroughly with clean hands until a homogeneous mass is formed.

After that, we form small balls from the minced meat and put it on a cutting board.

Step 4: prepare dough for dumplings.

Break the eggs into a small bowl, pour clean cold water and pour salt to taste. Using a hand whisk or fork, beat the ingredients until a homogeneous mass is formed.

After that, pour the flour into small containers in small portions and simultaneously continue to whisk everything so that no lumps are formed. Attention: we should get a little thicker dough than pancakes. Therefore, flour (depending on its grade) may need both less and more.

Step 5: prepare the vegetable frying.

We put the pan on a small fire and put a piece of butter in it. When the oil becomes liquid, and the container warms up well, pour the remaining chopped onion and carrots here. From time to time, stirring with a wooden spatula, fry the vegetables until the transparency of the first component. Immediately after that we turn off the burner and set the pan aside. Attention: if you overcook the onions, the taste of the soup will be significantly different. Therefore, we vigilantly monitor this process.

Step 6: prepare the potatoes.

Using a knife, peel the potatoes and rinse thoroughly under running water. Spread the component on a cutting board and cut into small pieces. Attention: potatoes can be chopped into cubes or pieces of a rectangular shape of any size. We transfer the prepared component to a deep plate and fill it with ordinary cold water so that it does not darken when interacting with air.

Step 7: prepare the greens.

We rinse the parsley under running water, shake off excess liquid and put it on a cutting board. Using a knife, finely chop the greens and pour into a clean saucer. The component is used as desired. It can be in 5 minutes until the soup is ready, pour into a pan or add greens to the plate just before serving.

Step 8: make soup with dumplings and meatballs.

Pour clean cold water into the pan and put on medium heat. To make the liquid boil faster, cover the container with a lid. Immediately after that, pour salt to taste, and also gently spread the meatballs. Using a tablespoon, mix everything thoroughly and wait for the water to boil again.

Then add chopped potatoes to the container and cook the soup under the lid for 10-15 minutes.
After the allotted time, put the dumplings into the boiling liquid. To do this, use teaspoons. In one we collect a little batter, and the other - we scrape it into boiling soup.

We continue to cook the dish until the dumplings begin to float to the surface of the liquid. Immediately after this, pour vegetable frying into the soup, add bay leaf, black pepper and peas and mix everything thoroughly again. Cook still 5 minutes and then turn off the burner. Leave aside the soup under the lid for another few minutes.

Step 9: serve the soup with dumplings and meatballs.

Using a scoop, pour the soup with dumplings and meatballs into deep plates and serve to the dining table with pieces of bread.

- for the preparation of dumplings we use premium flour and fine grinding;
