Ingredients for making candied cookies

Cooking cookies with candied fruit:

Step 1: prepare a mixture of dried fruits.

First of all, we take the right amount of dried cranberries, dried pears, dried apricots and rinse under a stream of cold running water from dust and other contaminants.
After that, we dry them with paper kitchen towels, put them on a chopped board, and take turns chopping them into small cubes with an approximate size of up to 1 centimeter.
We shift the crushed dried fruits into a small bowl and mix with a tablespoon to a homogeneous consistency.

Step 2: prepare the butter.

Then we put a piece of butter in a small stewpan, put it on medium heat and melt, periodically stirring with a tablespoon so as not to burn. Once it becomes liquid, remove from the stove and cool for one to two minutes. At the same time, turn on and preheat the oven up to 180 degrees Celsius and cover the non-stick baking sheet with a sheet of baking paper.

Step 3: mix the butter, sugar and eggs.

Next, pour the warm melted butter into a clean blender bowl. Pour the right amount of dark brown granulated sugar there. We turn on the kitchen appliance at the highest speed and mix these products 2-3 minutes to a homogeneous liquid consistency without sugar grains.

After that, add chicken eggs to them and beat everything, until the mass becomes light and an airy white cap is not formed on its surface. As soon as this happens, turn off the blender and proceed to the next step.

Step 4: prepare the dough.

Pour the resulting egg-sugar-butter mixture into a deep bowl. Pour chopped dried fruits there.

Sift wheat flour through a sieve, add oatmeal and mix everything until smooth.

The result should be a light brown dough of medium density.

Step 5: make cookies.

Now we are armed with a tablespoon, using it we spread the dough on the prepared baking sheet, giving each portion a rounded shape and leaving 2-3 centimeters of free space between them.

Step 6: bake cookies.

When all the cookies are formed, send it to the preheated oven on 10-12 minutesuntil it takes on a golden brown hue.
After this time, the pastries will be ready, put on kitchen gloves, put the baking sheet on the cutting board, previously laid on the kitchen table, and give the fragrant dessert the opportunity to cool completely.
Next, using a kitchen spatula, transfer the cookies to a large flat dish and serve it to the table.

Step 7: serve the candied fruit cookies.

Candied cookies are served at room temperature, and the leftovers are stored in a plastic container or bag. Basically this yummy is served with hot, fresh, only brewed tea, coffee, cocoa or warm milk. Enjoy it!

Recipe Tips:

- a set of dried fruits can be changed to taste, for example, use dried strawberries, banana, dried cherries or prunes;

- very often a little cinnamon, a bag of vanillin or liquid vanilla extract are added to the dough;

- A good, but not perfect substitute for butter - margarine for baking, premium with a minimum water content;

- Instead of baking paper, you can use parchment paper.
