Making frozen strawberry jam:

Step 1: prepare the strawberries.


We spread the frozen strawberries in a deep bowl and immediately proceed to prepare the jam. Such a berry is good in that it gives a lot of juice, in which we cook the component.

Step 2: make frozen strawberry jam - the first step.


Pour sugar into a bowl with strawberries, measuring its amount in advance with a special glass. Using a tablespoon, thoroughly mix the ingredients until smooth. Attention: this must be done exactly when the berries are still frozen. So we will not spoil the strawberries and the jam will turn out beautiful. Now leave everything aside for 3-4 hoursor better - at night at room temperature.

Step 3: prepare the lemon.


In 30 minutes before cooking the jam, prepare the lemon. To do this, using a juicer, squeeze the juice from citrus.

Step 4: prepare jam from frozen strawberries - the second stage.


After the allotted time, the berries will melt and give juice. Immediately after this, pour the contents of the bowl into a deep pan and put on medium heat. Pour freshly squeezed lemon juice here and wait for the mass to begin to boil. Then we reduce the fire and cook the jam for 25-30 minutesstirring occasionally. Important: so as not to mash the berries, we take the pan with the help of kitchen tack and rotate it several times around the axis. After the allotted time, turn off the burner, and leave the strawberry mixture for 30 minutes to insist. Then again turn on the hotplate and repeat the process of making jam from start to finish. See if the mass is thick enough. In principle, everything! It remains only to prepare glass jars and pour jam on them.

So, we pour ordinary cold water into a medium pan and put on a small fire. While the liquid is boiling, thoroughly rinse the cans under running water using a special detergent. Then gently place a sieve over the container. We lay glass jars on it upside down and sterilize for 10-15 minutes until steam begins to flow down the inner walls. Immediately after that, using kitchen tack, remove the cans and put them upside down on a clean cloth towel. Now we sterilize the lids and after the same amount of time we get them out of the boiling liquid using kitchen tongs. We spread them next to the banks and complete the process of making jam.

Using a scoop, pour the strawberry mass into containers and cover it well with iron lids. When the jam has cooled to room temperature, put it in the refrigerator and store for as long as necessary.

Step 5: serve frozen strawberry jam.


When it comes time to enjoy this amazing jam, we take out the jars from the refrigerator and with the help of a tablespoon we spread the strawberry mass into a deep bowl. Serve at the dessert table with tea or coffee. It’s also very tasty to spread jam on toast or soft bread and butter. My kids always do this, so quite often in the cold season I can just sit by the TV, and not stand in the kitchen, baking cakes and rolls.

Recipe Tips:

- to make such a jam, it is best to use homemade frozen strawberries;

- if you like very sweet jam, then you can add more sugar to the strawberry mass;

- if you want whole berries to fall into the jam, then the cooking time can be reduced to 7-10 minutes with a break of 1-2 hours.
