Salad with crackers and chicken


Ingredients for making salad with crackers and chicken

  1. Fresh chicken fillet 300 grams
  2. White bread 200 grams
  3. Hard cheese 150 grams

  6. 3 cloves medium sized garlic

Cooking a salad with crackers and chicken:

Step 1: prepare the garlic.


We spread the garlic on a cutting board and lightly press down with the tip of a knife. Then with clean hands we remove the husk and, using the garlic press, grind the cloves directly above the deep bowl.

Step 2: prepare vegetable oil for frying bread.


Pour into a bowl with chopped garlic 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, mix everything thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is formed and leave to stand aside for 10-15 minutes.

Step 3: prepare the chicken fillet.


Thoroughly wash the chicken fillet under running water, wipe it with a kitchen paper towel and put it on a cutting board.
Using a knife, we clean the meat from veins, fat and films. Now we cut the component into small pieces and move it onto a flat plate.

Meanwhile, pour a small amount of vegetable oil into the pan and put on medium heat. When the contents in the container are well warmed up, put the chopped chicken fillet here. From time to time, stirring with a wooden spatula, fry the meat to a soft golden crust. At the end, salt to taste and turn off the burner. Attention: pieces of chicken must be soft and juicy inside. This will be a sign that the meat is well fried. The approximate cooking time on low heat should take you from 20 to 30 minutes.

Step 4: prepare hard cheese.


Using a medium grater, grind hard cheese directly on a cutting board. Immediately after this, pour the chips into a clean plate and wrap them with cling film so that the component does not wind off while we are preparing the remaining products.

Step 5: Prepare the Iceberg Salad.


We wash the salad under running water, shake off excess liquid and put it on a cutting board. Using a knife, grind greens and pour it into a free plate. Attention: if desired, the component can also be torn with clean hands.

Step 6: prepare the cherry tomatoes.


We wash the tomatoes under running water and put it on a cutting board. Using a knife, we cut the component into two parts and from each we remove the place to which the tail was attached. Now gently shift the cherry on a flat plate with the pulp up and leave it for a while aside.

Step 7: prepare the bread.


We spread white bread on a cutting board and chop with a knife into cubes. Then move the component into a small bowl.

Now pour the vegetable oil with garlic into the pan and put on a small fire. Immediately add cubes of white bread here, salt to taste and mix with a wooden spatula. This must be done so that the last component is saturated with the oil and aroma of garlic. From time to time, stirring everything with improvised equipment, fry the bread from all sides to a soft golden color. Immediately after that we turn off the burner and set the pan aside.

Step 8: prepare a salad with crackers and chicken.


In a medium bowl, spread the fried chicken, cherry tomatoes, cheese chips and Iceberg salad. Using a tablespoon, mix everything carefully until smooth. Then we season the salad with a small amount of mayonnaise and can be served at the dinner table.

Step 9: serve the salad with crackers and chicken.


We shift the salad with crackers and chicken onto a flat dish, sprinkle with crackers and hurry to treat the household with such a delicious and very aromatic food. By the way, if the fried bread is still hot, then there is the opportunity to try a warm dish, which also tastes very interesting.

Recipe Tips:

- for the preparation of salad, it is best to use mayonnaise with a high percentage of fat content. The only thing - it needs a little, literally 2-3 tablespoons in part;

- for crackers, you can use toast white bread, as it is more elastic and airy in consistency, therefore, when sliced, it does not crumble and is easily fried;

- For a salad, such hard cheese as Russian (more salty), Kostroma (island) or King Arthur (dense in structure and more fat compared to other cheeses) is perfect.
